About our Client:Our client is a well established global FMCG company. An exciting opportunity arises for a Finance Manager to head their finance team in Malaysia. This role is reporting to the GM and Regional CFO.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operations of the finance department and manage the preparation of the company's budget.
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances.
  • Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and evaluate cost-reduction opportunities as well as company's credit limit.
  • Handle reconciliation with Interco and 3rd Parties.
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
  • Responsible on tax strategy and to ensure the business is align with country's tax regulations.
Candidate Profile:
  • Degree in Accountancy, with CPA, ACCA or MIA qualification.
  • Min 8 years of relevant experience in FMCG industry with good knowledge in distribution or modern trade channels.
  • SAP knowledge is a MUST.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and in-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal and business communications skills to manage stakeholders
