I am currently recruiting for one of my key clients who are looking for a Financial Planning and Treasury Analyst on a permanent basis, to join a well established organisation focussed on high quality provision whilst also being known for their reputation. This role will play a pivotal part within the business planning division looking at the forward thinking elements on finance and treasury.

The salary for this role is up to £45,000 per annum and a candidate of ACA, CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE is required.

Desirable Sector Experience: Housing, Property, Real Estate or a Development Division Internally within another Sector

Role Duties of Financial Planning and Treasury Analyst:

  • Have a passion for the organisation and improving customer experience
  • Demonstrable experience in long- and short-term financial business planning and development accountancy
  • Ability to seek trends, producing accurate forecasts and support the direction of the business
  • Be fully qualified accountant or qualified by experience
  • Possess effective, accurate and timely engagement skills, with the ability to interact positively amongst a variety of colleagues
  • Be a confident Microsoft Office user, particularly with Excel
  • Responsible for cash flow forecasts, KPI and liquidity reports
  • Identify when loan drawdowns /repayments will be required and arrange as necessary and responsible for management of the loan's ledger, ensuring timely loan interest payments
  • Arrange investments that maximise financial returns, monitor exposure and counterparty credit limits set within the Treasury Management Policy
  • Hold responsibility for adherence to the Treasury Management Policy, for month end and quarter end requirements assessing the Treasury budget
  • Assess budgets for treasury overheads, capital loans, capital loan repayments etc.
  • Production of quarterly management account cash flow statements and monthly balance sheet forecasts
  • Knowledge of development based finance and accountancy
