Group Finance Analyst

I'm keen to speak with qualfied finance professionals regaeding a Group Finance Analyst role with a global market leader in South Manchester.

Robert Walters are representing a South Manchester based PE backed market leader in their search for a high calibre qualified finance professional to join as a Group Finance Analyst reporting in to the Group Reporting Manager.

As the successful applicant you will be responsible for producing in-depth board level analysis and reporting findings to Senior Management. These will include reporting on KPI performance and profit margin reviews with a complete and full picture of various global P&L's.

Your role:

• Analyse individual P&L performance across the Group with comparisons for senior management
• Review and analyse the accuracy of KPI's across various forecasts
• Analysis profit margins sector analysis working closely with management to provide insight
• Produce GP reports to Directors and other senior stakeholders
• Prepare and analyse monthly/quarterly/annual margin reports
• Monthly analysis on foreign currency gains/loss for the Group Management Accounts team
• Support the year end audit on an ad-hoc basis
• Provide improvements including automation and efficiencies on existing processes across the Group
• Analyse and track currency movements monitoring risk regarding fluctuations
• Develop less senior peers and provide ad-hoc support

Your background:

• Full ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookups/SUMIFs/PIVOTS/macros)
• Exposure to analysis/reporting on foreign currencies
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to produce in-depth and comprehensive reports suitable for board level presentation
• Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding finance function
