In FT, we improve the effectiveness and efficiency of finance functions and generate real insights to help deliver value to our clients through Corporate Services Transformation.

Our team is also a market leader in Mergers and Acquisitions across Healthcare and has a growing demand from our clients for Business Case support to assist large public sector change and investment decisions.

The role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a growing team where you will be supporting Partners and Directors in driving the sales pipeline and building relationships with clients to develop further opportunities.ResponsibilitiesIt is critical that candidates are able to drive a sales pipeline, pursue opportunities, develop innovative offerings and thought leadership that challenge our clients' thinking.

You also need to build a team and capability to deliver high quality engagements. As part of this team, you will be working with clients from the initial diagnosis stage, strategy formulation and analysis, through to implementation, including:Business development: leading the development of and sustaining relationships both internally and with client management; leading business development and pursuits activity (including developing, contributing to and writing and presenting winning proposals and bids for future work)Engagement delivery: responsibility for leading programmes and projects of large size and complexity, with respect to planning, managing and executing the delivery of engagements, including overseeing the writing of client reports and the review and quality assurance of work productsClient relationships: building and managing multiple client relationshipsRisk management: identifying and managing risks, engagement assurance and commercial risk management and ensuring the Firm's frameworks are implemented appropriately and effectivelyPeople development: leading large teams, identifying team member development needs and accelerating development with particular emphasis on managing and mentoring engagement team members, coaching and skills transferPractice development: leading the development of processes and initiatives that are key to scaling the businessThought leadership: taking a lead role in the design and development of thought leadership papers and the development of new methodologiesValues: Upholding KPMG's values by acting with integrityThe PersonWe expect that you will have:Proven track record of both selling and delivering financial advisory services in the UK Healthcare market. This may be in a similar or related role, the key experiences are in building client relationships over time and successfully delivering large complex financial advisory projects.Knowledge and understanding of:Issues and challenges facing the Finance Function, Finance business partnering and trends in FinanceNHS policy, structures (regulation, commissioning and providers), standards and day to day financial managementMerging or integrating organisations, including across corporate services; either in a client consulting or senior finance line management capacityThe changing healthcare landscape facing the future of the NHS in the UKExperience of:Selling/delivering M&A and Finance Transformation programmes of change to clients, with a value of over £500k+ per annumA variety of Finance Transformation capabilities including Due Diligence, Financial Strategy & Planning, Target Operating model and Integration planning, Financial Analysis, Management Information and Global Business Services/Shared ServicesDriving out cost savings of c30% in Finance and Corporate Services to support corporate efficiency programmesWorking within the NHS and delivering Consultancy projects for the NHSAble to demonstrate advanced project management with a proven track record in delivering high quality project or workstream outputsExperience of proposal writing and presenting to clients or equivalent Experience delivering clear, concise, focussed messages at the C-suite level, senior finance team members and colleagues/team membersLeadership - the role will help to continue to grow a diverse Finance Transformation team focused on the healthcare market.

You will need to demonstrate building diverse and inclusive teams to be successful in this process.
