Business Services Semi Senior

Our client, a highly progressive firm of Chartered Accountants based in Manchester are seeking an ambitious Accounts or Business Services Semi Senior to join their team.

The ideal candidate may be AAT Qualified, or studying towards their ACA/ ACCA qualification with a background in accountancy practice.

This will be a varied role involving the preparation of year end statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, review of bookkeeping, tax compliance, liaising with HMRC and dealing with client queries. A good work of accountancy software such as Xero or Quickbooks will be beneficial.

The role can be seen in more detail below:

Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
VAT returns & bookkeeping
Liaising with HMRC
Training clients on accountancy software
Dealing with ad hoc client queries

Preparation of working papers and annual accounts for sole traders and owner managed SMEs.

Requirements:

ACA/ ACCA Student/ Part Qualified
AAT Qualified/ QBE
Practice experience is essential
