The opportunity

As a Business Analyst, you will have the opportunities to work with talented people from around the globe to deliver exceptional client experience to our business. You will be part of key EY Talent and Finance transformation program as well as cross-organization initiatives and projects.

Your key responsibilities

As the Business Analyst, your responsibilities and expectations include, but not limited to the following:

  • Analyse complex business problems and determine the best Information Technology solutions
  • Data gathering and analyse business and user needs
  • Provide options and recommendations to business and/or Information Technology teams
  • Work closely with project team and business to determine the best feasible Information Technology solutions
  • Ensure requirements are documented in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable, unambiguous and capable of being implemented and tested
  • Analyse Information Technology’s application data requirements and document data mapping between systems
  • Manage requirements throughout project lifecycle by maintaining agreement between business and project team
  • Establish traceability of requirements to the business vision
  • Work with business and Quality Assurance team to identify and document testing scenario
  • Development of business case and change request
  • Manage the delivery of small enhancement/change request
  • Skills and attributes for success

  • Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong in analytical thinking
  • Ability to determine “fit for purpose” requirements
  • Proficient in facilitating requirement gathering discussions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal or external
  • Ability to prioritize work and flexible in handling multiple projects/requests simultaneously
  • Ability to deal with changes under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work with people from different geographical locations and time zones
  • Strong business acumen
  • To qualify for the role you must have

  • Minimum 5 years of Information Technology experience as developer or business analyst
  • Proven experience in writing and reviewing business/ functional and non-functional/ system level requirements
  • Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
  • Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Basic application and architectural knowledge built upon Microsoft platform/technologies, e.g. .NET, SQL, SSIS, Azure
  • Familiar with IT methodologies e.g. Agile, DevOps
