Our client is an active player in the Health tech sector. They are currently looking to hire a Finance Director in Lagos. Key Roles/Responsibilities: Ensuring proper maintenance of the company's books of accounts Reviewing the company's financial management systems and processes and making appropriate recommendations to management Providing efficient tax planning, management and administration services Timely preparation of the company's financial and management reports Reviewing of the company's cost structure and position and making appropriate cost reduction/management recommendations Forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual results Assisting in all financial tasks of the company and ensuring optimal use of company's capital and resources Managing accounts receivables and payables Providing required support to external auditors and tax authorities to ensure effective and timely completion of the audit processes and enquiries Ensuring development of and compliance with sound internal controls across the company Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of BSc/HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics or any other related and relevant discipline Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, etc) Experience with both For Profit and Grants accounting will be an advantage EXPERIENCE: 7 years + post qualification experience in the Accounts/Finance Department of a medium to large organization with exposure to period end accounting and reporting functions, Treasury, Loan Management, Group Accounting and other related functions.
