Management Accountant

The role will be to prepare accounts to trial balance for the company, VAT and statutory reporting. Provide reviews and commentary on business performance for operational expenditures. Implementation of company procedures and best practice. Establishing strong relationships with business partners. This will be a working 40 hour week with flexible working days from home.

Client Details

Our client is a pharmaceutical company based in Warrington very close to train links and due to rapid growth within the business require an additional Management Accountant to join the team. The company was founded over 50 years ago, a very well established business and present in over 100 countries in the globe.

Description

• Management reporting to give to local management to enable them to make informed business decisions
• Financial reporting to external bodies where relevant including to tax authorities, statutory filings, financial regulators (VAT and Intrastat Returns) within legal deadlines
• On-time and high quality weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual financial reporting in line with the Group's standards
• Business partnering with all stakeholders
• To manage the month end process, including the following:
• SAP closing tasks
• Preparing and maintaining accruals, provision and prepayment for operational expenditure.
• Creation and reconciliation of monthly Intercompany sales invoicing
• Salaries to be posted to SAP

Profile

• Experience working in an international company is desirable not essential
• A candidate studying towards further accountancy studies i.e ACCA / CIMA
• Strong Excel Skills
• SAP knowledge is beneficial
