Our client is a top tier Chinese investment bank and is currently looking for an Associate Director in Finance

- Reviewed daily financial accounting and book closing operations in the institutional brokerage and investment banking business
- Reported the profit/ loss of trading income to management including equity, derivatives, FX and money market products
- Ensure day-to-day financial control processes are well managed such as balances reconciliations, aging analysis and trade flow monitoring
- Liaised with middle office for profit/loss reporting, exceptions identified in trade records and quantify the financial impact
- Communicated clearly the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders as well as annual audit and regulatory filings
- Coordinated the system enhancement, new mechanism designing and project implementations with various departments from front to back office for new product types onboard as well as followed up issues on post-implementation phase
- Led a team to complete above tasks with appropriate delegation, monitoring and feedback
- Coached the team by providing feedback on their performance, advice on career development opportunities and appropriate resources to their needs
- Degree holder in finance, business administration or related disciplines
- 8 years of finance and accounting experience at financial institutions or big 4 consultancy
- Strong management skills
- Good command in English and Mandarin
