Corin is seeking a Group Accountant to assist in producing all monthly and annual reporting for the Group and individual corporate entities in a timely and accurate manner, alongside supporting and overseeing financial accounting and reporting of the global subsidiaries.

Corin offers a unique combination of clinically proven hip & knee solutions and world leading technologies, our OMNIBotics & OPS systems utilize intelligent instrumentation to give surgeons the ability to perform patient-specific procedures with high accuracy, with more consistent results and improved recovery rates.

The Key Responsibilities Of The Group Accountant Are To
  • Produce the rolling Group cash flow forecast including the ability to understand and explain variances to prior year and budget/re-forecast.
  • Oversee and review of the financial results and cash flow forecasts of the global subsidiaries, provide support and challenge where appropriate.
  • Assist in producing the corporate entity financial statements and internal monthly and annual reporting in line with financial standards and Corin Group policies.
  • Assist in intercompany reporting and reconciliations across the Group.
  • Be actively and pro-actively involved in system and process development to drive continuous improvement in financial governance and discipline across the Group.
  • Play a key role in the production of the Group and UK entities' year end statutory accounts and associated supporting audit documentation, including being a key point of contact for the external auditors of the Group.
  • Support the Financial Controller - Group in
    • all aspects of global cash flow management;
    • development of the Group accounting policies and guidance, and responses to any technical accounting queries arising around the Group; and
    • performing regular reviews of financial controls, procedures, and adherence to Group accounting policies across the Group.
  • Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin's ISO13485 QMS & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA21 CFR Part 820.
  • Ensure that process and timeline requirements for Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) are met in accordance with Corin's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in support of Corin's Global Objectives for CAPA.


RequirementsThe ideal Group Accountant will have
  • A financial qualification - be a qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) with outstanding technical ability.
  • Strong communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relations across all levels and cultures.
  • The ability and drive to pick things up quickly, particularly systems, combined with excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Rigour in their approach to all tasks.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Ideally, experience of system implementations.
