Description

Duties will include:

  • Update WIP each week for several entities based on several systems.
  • Hold monthly WIP meetings to ensure that WIP is accurate from a finance and operations standpoint.
  • Reconcile the revenue of each entity to ensure the revenue recognised each month is accurate.
  • Review the persuasive evidence of all new bookings to ensure that we are following US GAAP.
  • Issuing invoices based on milestones reached
  • Acting as a financial sparring partner for the project managers and finance team
  • Preparing financial and management reports including month end reconciliations and reporting
  • Managing controls of project accounting
  • Managing audits and tax issues with regards to projects
  • Offering support to other functions to aid project management
  • Processing daily transactions and ensuring the follow-up of all outstanding items for area of responsibility
  • Responding to inquiries; resolving discrepancies; maintaining records and files
  • Submitting monthly reports and assisting in month-end-closing
  • Contributing to the working environment by displaying a positive attitude and a high work ethic
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls, procedures and policy and with a US GAAP regime
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
