Who we are looking for:

The Strategic Project Services Team is a group of Project Managers that partner with different business units and corporate stakeholders within India and across the globe in driving the execution of strategic transformation projects. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to various initiatives in meeting regulatory/industry mandates, client commitments and/or business objectives through the process of evaluating process optimization activities, using levers such as simplification/elimination of non-value added activities, automation and optimizing the location strategy

What you will be responsible for:

As an Project Management Officer, you will:

  • Lead the end-to end planning, management and execution of a small to medium project and/or lead a work stream within a large strategic initiative
  • Conduct core project management activities including facilitating meetings, interviewing stakeholders, hosting workshops, documenting findings, creating stakeholder presentations - assume full responsibility & accountability for assigned project stage(s) and drive execution to meet project goals
  • Develop and maintain end to end plans to manage project timeline, scope, deliverables and resources
  • Utilize standard best practice project artifacts and cadence to establish and maintain project structure and governance (e.g., project charter, issues list, meeting cadence, reporting etc.)
  • Provide robust project level reporting and metrics tracking for initiative
  • Coordinate overall project communications, risks and issues resolution; anticipate and escalate when necessary
  • Support the teams strategy and direction to meet client needs through the understanding of their business
  • Support team development through training and coaching and encourage experiential and other learning opportunities
  • Champion and support a collaborative cross-business environment that fosters change utilizing the Change Management Framework
  • Engage in continuous improvement of SPS team through sharing of best practices and/or learning opportunities (e.g., hosting a lunch & learn, PMI Roundtable, contributing to SPS SharePoint Site, etc.)
  • Act in accordance with Risk Excellence and demonstrate ethical behavior and decision making
  • Work on all phases and aspects of operating model re-design, such as data gathering, baselining, root cause analysis, future state design, and implementation (where necessary).
  • Act as a liaison between the business and IT to scope out, assess feasibility and drive the digital transformation strategy, to include aspects of automation, AI and ML (where necessary).
  • Develop materials required to support future state execution (e.g. detailed process flow diagrams, job aids - where necessary).

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
  • Overall 8-10 years' experience and 6-7 years job related/industry experience in financial services or consulting is required
  • Good knowledge of proven business analysis methodology is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Excel, Power BI, and Word required SharePoint, Microsoft good to have
  • Good communication and writing skills required
  • Financial Industry expertise specifically Fund Accounting and Back office operations will be a Plus
  • PMP and/or Agile certification will be a plus
