Assistant Financial Controller

An opportunity has arisen at this fast paced, retail bar group with 5 venues across two cities. Our support office is based in Liverpool. We are a business that believes in innovation and delivering a great experience. We currently employ around 125 people and have an expansion plan to open further locations across the UK.

This is a full-time role, with the possibility of flexible working hours for the right candidate.

You will ideally have experience in a fast-paced leisure/retail environment, but this is not essential. The organisation is one which prides itself on employing people who make a difference so a proven ability and hunger to produce great quality results will be key.

The business is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller who will be reporting directly to and working closely with the FC.

- Pricing

- Cost Centre Reporting/Cost Control

- Weekly/Monthly Payroll

- EPOS Management

- WIP/Project Accounting

- Systems: Sage 200, Advanced MS Excel skills (SQL level), Fourth HR, Access EPOS

Person Specification

• ideal candidate must have: -
• Qualified accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Minimum two years' experience of producing month end Management Accounts
• Excel (Advanced) & Sage 200 (desirable)
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build relationships with external suppliers
• Ability to work as an effective member of the team
• The hours of work can be flexible with full time available for the right candidate between the hours of 9.00am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday.
