What you need to know about the role...

Reporting to the Finance Manager (Commercial and Marketing), the Management Accountant (Revenue) will be primarily responsible for:

• Revenue - Processing all of the company's revenue streams including subscription fees, joining fee's and other ancillary income such as vending and add-on products.
• Revenue - Forming a key relationship with our outsourced payments provider, gaining an understanding of how the different revenue streams are received and recognised.
• Forecasting - Assisting the revenue finance manager with daily, weekly, and monthly forecasting of both members and revenue, understanding the key drivers and impacts they have.

Ongoing responsibilities to include processing and tracking group revenue, providing insight and commentary on monthly variances and queries. Working with members of the business and our outsourced payments provided to provide accurate and timely revenue reporting each month and dealing with ad-hoc requests from management.

Other responsibilities

• Prepare deliverables for the interim and year end audit
• Support the annual plan and bi-yearly re-forecast process for relevant cost areas
• Support ad hoc finance team projects as required

Must have

• A recognised accounting qualification
• Strong knowledge of Excel and a good general knowledge of financial systems

Desirable

• Experience working in industry for a fast-paced, growth business
• Good experience with Power BI and Workday
