Description

As Finance Manager, you will be reporting into the Finance Director. Your duties will be extremely varied, but will be a mix of management and financial accounts, managing a small team and strategic financial planning. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Financial management and reporting, including management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cashflows.
• Responsible for the smooth day to day running of the finance function by managing a team of 5, including one part qualified.
• Working closely with other departments within the company, to offer a finance perspective and also ensure the finance team has all information required for reporting.
• Overseeing and managing credit control
• Managing an efficient month end process to meet parent company deadlines
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations for board meetings
• Producing any other internal financial reports as and when required.
• Checking and approving purchase invoices
• Overseeing, calculating provisions and reconciling stock
• Calculation of commission to sales agents
• Dealing with external auditor's requests
• Manage improvements and project on SAP accounting system

Profile

To apply for this position, you must:

• Be CIMA or ACCA part-qualified or finalist level
• Have a proven track record of working in finance
• Have some experience of directly or in-directly leading, supervising or managing others
• Have experience of most, but not all, of the duties outlined above
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels

• £35,000 - £42,000 (dependent upon experience, and this is negotiable)
