Client Details

We are working with a client based in the Warrington area who specialise in construction trade. Due to the business growing through the pandemic they have created a new position within the finance team for a permanent Assistant Accountant. This role will offer full study support and see the successful candidate climb up their career ladder within their company.

Description

• Assisting with the preparation of subsidiary management accounts
• Supporting balance sheet reconciliations
• Financial analysis of performance against budget and investigating key variances
• Posting and preparing journals
• Weekly KPI reporting
• Preparation and submission of group VAT returns
• Preparation of grant claims
• Supporting statutory reporting requirements

Profile

• Part Qualified Accountant.
• Strong IT skills including use of Microsoft Office to include strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial process experience.
• Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
