We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst (Finance & Strategy) to provide cross functional leadership developing key financial models and insights to inform strategic decisions including device and usage forecast. In this highly visible role, you will build models to analyze data, make sense of the forecasts and explain what it all means to key stakeholders (technical and business).
The successful candidate will be expert at analyzing large data sets, have exemplary communication skills and experience communicating at the most senior level. The candidate will need to be a self-starter, very comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail.
Responsibilities
• Drive forecasting process across the fiscal calendar involving multiple cross-functional teams
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
• Derive insights from customer feedback and usage data and translate into actionable insights
• Define requirements for forecasting accuracy and efficiency, via inputs from regional teams and delivery through global functions
• Partner with stakeholders including finance, BI, CRM teams to identify opportunities and business requirements for forecasting systems, process improvement, and technology innovation/automation
Basic Qualifications:
• MBA or MS degree in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering, finance, economics)
• Several years of relevant work experience in analytics or related field.
• Proven track record of successful communication of analytical outcomes through written communication, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
• Advanced experience using Excel, basic experience using Tableau and SQL
• Experience gathering business requirements, analyzing forecasts, and reports
• Process management skills. Detail orientation and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Self-starter, strong drive, bias for action and result-oriented with the ability to influence others at both peer and leader level, high on earns trust
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Salesforce pipeline management systems
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams
• Experience with data modeling and analyzing large data sets
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau or similar tools
• Experience with AWS technologies including Redshift
