About the Senior Financial Accountant role:
In this role you will be responsible for taking care of the full suite of financial reporting and compliance for the Group, liaising with the international parent company.
Key responsibilities:
- Group consolidation of financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards
- Regular compliance reporting for the Group
- Point of contact to deal with with audit teams
- Prepare various reporting packs for parent company
- Involved in maintaining financial models, and undertaking analysis on results
- Preparation of board reporting
- Proactively improving processes where appropriate
- Go-to advisor for technical accounting matters
Key selection criteria:
- 5+ years experience in relevant technical accounting role
- CA/CPA Qualified or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in group consolidation and adhering to international accounting standards
- Strong communication and written skills
- Experience within the heavy industry sector preferred
