The position of SharePoint Agile Business Analyst forms a part of the Information Services branch within Corporate Services Group. Information Services (IS) oversees the delivery of ICT-related investments and services to DJPR. IS engages with the organisation to ensure ICT systems and services are appropriately designed, governed, and delivered. IS offers a range of end-user focused systems and services to the organisation both directly and through third-party providers and provides governance and assurance for systems and services delivered by other groups and agencies within.

Reporting to the Collaboration Platforms Manager within DJPR's Information Services Branch, the Collaboration Platforms team is responsible for the support and deliver a range of modern products including Office 365 (O365), LogicApps, PowerApps, Nintex and forms to deliver business solutions and enhance collaboration across the departments.

The key accountabilities of the role will include:
  • Gather business functional and non-functional requirements, exceptions and business rules in an Agile framework.
  • Provide support to design sessions with decision makers, systems owners, and end users in prototyping new systems for enhancing business processes and information process flow.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and developers to break down larger features into detailed user stories, build narratives and acceptance criteria.
  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative and productive working relationships with project stakeholders through provision of expert guidance, support and feedback to ensure proposed solutions meet business requirements.
  • Test the solution and determine impact of test defects, assist stakeholders in determining actions and manage associated changes to requirements/designs/processes.
