Accounts Payable Accountant

Main roles & responsibilities:

• Accounting of fuel stocks from the fuel stations, starting by checking if the contractual conditions agreed for supply are met, up to check of the accounting results regarding these stocks, and reports according to the company's internal procedures;
• Accounting of stocks of petroleum product in the fuel warehouse, starting with checking if the contractual conditions agreed for supply are met, up to check of the accounting results regarding these stocks, and reports according to the company's internal procedures;
• Knowledge of internal and intracommunity acquisitions, imports or acquisitions in the free zone with all the accounting and fiscal implications that appear in processing and reporting them;
• Managing the relationship with suppliers of oil products (monthly account statement double check with supplier regarding discounts, balance confirmations and also keep up to date the data base of in force contracts);
• Proposes for payment the due invoices for fuel suppliers;
• Recording the monthly fleet car fuel consumption, including the analysis of the fiscal treatment to be applied;
• Check and register of transport invoices for retail and wholesale;
• Other tasks as requested by direct supervisor.

Required qualifications & skills:

• Studies in the finance/accounting;
• Solid knowledge of accounting and fiscality;
• Minimum 3 years experience in accounting;
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• English language- medium/high level;
• Attention to details, results orientation, focused on deadlines;
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and flexible environment;
• Involved, proactive person, eager for professional development;
• Team player.
