Job Title: Finance Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term ContractBase location: Barrow - In - FurnessSalary: Up to£57,000

As a global FTSE 250 company with over 500 contracts across 20 countries we rely on the support of our Finance Services Team to keep the business running smoothly and efficiently. As the Finance Manager for one of our key contracts, you will support business leaders by providing dedicated, commercial and financial decision support. You'll work with the business to challenge assumptions, influence decisions and make recommendations for efficiency improvements. Your goal in this position will be to act as a trusted point of contact for business leaders, transforming financial and non-financial information into insight which influences decision making to improve financial performance of Serco Services.

You will be confident with financial systems, have good attention to detail, a strong process driven mindset, great interpersonal skills and enjoy finding solutions to issues, adding value to an organisation.

What you'll need to do the roleFirstly, you'll need to be commercially minded and customer focused with the ability to add value in a commercially orientated bidding and contracting environment. You'll need the ability to influence, negotiate, listen to and resolve conflicts with decision makers as well as experience of understanding relationships between key financial and non-financial business value drivers. You'll be capable of translating business requirements into open, honest and transparent insight to solve complex problems. Lastly, you must be able to attain SC Clearance.
