An amazing opportunity has arisen at Head Office for a Commercial Finance Analyst to support the Commercial Finance team with providing guidance, analysis and insight to support the commercial success of the business.
The Commercial Finance function provides clear financial management to achieve P&L results, guidance on revenue growth strategies, promotion guidelines and ROI improvement, involved in JBP business planning with key customers, scenario analysis and support on new product development (NPD)
This role will help support the sales & operating planning business, month end cycle and creation of the annual budget and forecasts. The role will primarily be involved in monthly and weekly reporting and day to day analysis, with a high level of responsibility for system integrity although there are opportunities to be involved in other areas as you progress.
Outside of Commercial, the role will support the wider Group Finance team on the annual audit process for the commercial function.
Essential:
* Part qualified or early stage of qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Will have an eye for detail with proven ability to provide accurate data against tight deadlines
* Will have strong Excel skills and will be proficient in Word and Powerpoint
* Will be highly collaborative and resilient, comfortable with challenging/encouraging others to provide timely inputs and meet regular deadlines
* Will be ambitious and keen to learn and develop within the organisation
* Will be able to clearly articulate themselves and explain financial information to non-financial staff
Desirable:
* Previous commercial finance roles
* Experience working in an FMCG environment
* Experience using SAP, BluePlanner, DART and Tableau
