Senior Finance Analyst

Anderson Knight is working with a global client with operations based in Glasgow to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst. Our client has indefinite plans to work from home with travel to the office a few times a month for key meetings.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a pivotal role required to strengthen existing team capabilities and respond to rapidly changing business requirements & dynamics. We are seeking a commercially astute senior analyst to provide key analysis to drive crucial business decisions.

The main responsibilities the Senior Finance Analyst position entails are:

* Ability to condense & manipulate extremely large data sets into concise, accurate & relevant analysis

* Assess complex business challenges, build key analysis & make recommendations to senior leadership

* Adapt & flex at speed to deliver key analytics to drive decisions that optimise growth opportunities

* Build & strengthen relationships with non-finance professionals to provide best-in-class analytics & insights across multiple divisions.

* Participate in or lead projects as needed

To be considered for the Senior Finance Analyst position you must possess the following:

* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)

* Previous experience in a financial analyst position

* Ideally previous experience working for a medium to large PLC

* Strong communication skills

* A proactive approach to work

* The ability to solve complex problems

In return our client is offering a competitive basic salary, a 12% bonus and the ability to work from home for the foreseeable.
