About The Role
As a member of the Operational Risk & Compliance function, you will support the design and development of reporting and analysis to deliver quality insight, hindsight and foresight that drives better compliance and operational risk outcomes. This will be achieved through:
- Supporting the continuous improvement of data capture frameworks, principles and processes that are simple and easy to implement, and which provide high quality data that is able to be efficiently extracted, reported on and analysed.
- Coordination, collation and production of data for the express purpose of providing assurance to leadership via the ANZ Committee reporting structure.
- Investigate risk data and provide quality insight and actionable recommendations to support better decision making
- Using the insights gained from data analysis, support the construction of automated measures which allow assessment and enforcement of ANZs operational risk and compliance frameworks and annual opine on the outcome.
- Develop understanding of collected business data through investigation and discussion with business partners.
- Strong partnerships with Divisional 2nd line teams, Compliance and Operational Risk teams, and business leaders.
- Embody the organisational commitments to the AGILE methodology through actions and approach.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Tertiary qualified with extensive experience in Compliance Risk Management and Framework application (background in banking with exposure to data reporting and analytics preferable, including familiarity with prudential oversight reporting).
- Thinks strategically and commercially, drives an adaptive, agile risk culture and motivates organisational change.
- Strong ability to a drive strategy and process design and implementation.
- Able to leverage digital technology and data to enable faster and more effective decision making, with specific experience in ANZ preferred analytics tools such as QlikView or equivalent.
- Builds trusted advisory relationships across the organisation with a strong ability to influence and succeed through collaboration.
- Sound appreciation of all aspects of compliance and operational risk.
