Your field of responsibility 

  • Senior team member in our Financial Accounting & Regulatory Reporting department
  • In charge of financial and regulatory reporting (incl. Basel 3 solvency and liquidity reporting) and review of European branches
  • Analytical review of and executive summary on periodic financial reports
  • Responsible for key controls, reconciliations and adequate documentation
  • GAAP reconciliations between US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP
  • Proactively seek opportunities for operational improvements as well as implementing new systems and process streamlining
  • Maintain and own the integrity of financial records
  • Keeping up to date compliance with accounting, VAT and regulatory requirements
  • Gain understanding of business divisions and models to capture reporting implications
  • Leading the implementation of new business projects
  • Liaising with Group Financial Accounting team for the preparation of Group reporting and use of the Group IT platform
  • Collaborating closely with foreign branches and other business divisions of the Group
  • Maintaining relationship with auditors
  • Mentoring, development and feedback for junior team members

Your skills and experience: 

  • 3-7 years financial reporting or auditing experience
  • Graduate university degree in Accounting, Controlling, Finance or Business
  • Experience of banking financial and regulatory reporting, including Basel 3 deliverables
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting IT tools (FRS, Finarch or Abacus)
  • IFRS and/or US GAAP exposure
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Focused on quality and timely delivery
  • Solid organization, project and planning skills
  • Results-oriented, hardworking, deliver on time with a high level of attention to detail and quality standards
  • Has initiative to identify and challenge operational improvements
  • Solution and change oriented
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills with ability to work in a matrix structure
  • International outlook and experience
  • High flexibility and demonstration of initiative
  • Proficient in English
