Finance Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to join the team as Finance Manager, supporting three direct reports and working closely with the Exec board as well as accounts teams overseas.

Description

As Finance Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Drafting statutory accounts for UK entities according to applicable UK standards
• Drafting statutory accounts for overseas entities according to local standards
• Managing three assistant management accountants, offering continual support and training
• Liaising with auditors and planning audit process
• Provide support to overseas offices and accounts teams
• Budgeting support to Senior Management team
• Reviewing monthly management accounts and identifying issues and opportunities
• Responding to adhoc requests by management team and preparing adhoc financial reports
• Preparing monthly cash flow forecasts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide assistance to banking team when required
• Review and develop work flow and processes to keep optimum efficiency
• Work closely with FD and deputise in their absence

Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong technical accounting skills
• First rate organisational skills
• Confident liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
• Hands on and proactive
• Advanced Excel knowledge and competent in accounting systems - capacity to learn other applications
