Commercial FP&A Analyst

Based in Frimley, my client has an opportunity within the Financial Planning & Analysis team for a Commercial FP&A Analyst, this role will report in to the Brand Finance Manager. This is a 12-month Fixed Term contract to cover an internal secondment.

Description

This role is a central one where the Regional Sales and Marketing team have to be supported with recommendations and analysis but the job holder must also provide high service levels to Divisional Finance for Corporate reporting:

Duties will include:

• Provide stakeholders with sales and margins territory analysis for operational review and Corporate planning cycles.
• Support the provision of all EMEA reporting requirements for month end results and planning cycles.
• Oversee contract / discount accruals programmes. Provide monthly discount accruals analysis to Divisional Finance.
• Ensure that the sales and margins module in SAP remains accurate and adjustments are made.
• Participate in Operating Reviews and provide high service levels to all reporting lines, during the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & Quarterly forecast (STF) processes.
• Raise potential audit issues with Senior Financial Analyst, Territory Teams and / or Pricing Group in Frimley.

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance setting.
• Industry analyst with minimum 2 years' experience.
• Communication skills to build relationships with senior management and key personnel across European business units.
• Experience gained across a number of operational support roles and exposure to management for a minimum of 3 years.
• Financial modelling with MS Excel, Access & TM1 / Cognos Planning
• Knowledge of HYG systems (NOMS, SAP)
