Responsibilities:

• Directly report to the Finance Director and lead a small team to maintain the operations of all finance functions for Hong Kong & China
• Drive and manage the full accounting team's performance of the close process to meet close deadlines
• Prepare cash flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management
• Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliation
• Implement Finance Department initiatives including systems / new accounting standard implementation
• Evaluate, implement and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics
• Certified member of HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent qualification
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience gained from F&B / Retail / FMCG companies
• Big 4 experience is preferred
• Excellent relationship building and senior stakeholder management skill
• Self-starter, ability to identify issues, hold self and other accountable to achieve goals and resolve problems
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
