Interim Accountant

This is an interim Accountant role to cover a role based in Yorkshire & the Humber working for a well regarded education organisation. The role will be to cover for a period of 6 months initially, but could be extended further.

As an Interim Accountant you'll be starting this role remotely as they are anticipating all finance staff will be off site until at least September and so for the majority of this role you'll be working remotely.

Description

As Interim Accountant you will be working as part of a team who are responsible for the production of management accounts for a particular area of the organisation.

You will use your accountancy skills across a number of key areas including: the effective and efficient management and co-ordination of the day-to-day financial operations as well as being the first point of contact for financial queries and requests. You will support colleagues in the management accounts function in the production of forecasts and budgets.

Profile

Candidates will ideally be fully qualified accountants ( ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CIPFA or equivalent) and will have strong business partnering skills along with the experience of working with the education sector previously.

Job Offer

A salary of circa £35,000 - £49,000 with 40 days holidays including statutory days and a very good pension scheme.

A contract for a period of 6 months based in Yorkshire and the Humber.

Working from home until at least September, but then will potentially need to be on-site during the week in the Yorkshire and Humber area.
