General Leger Accountant - Up to £35,000 + Benefits - Manchester - Permanent

A great opportunity has arisen for a General Ledger Accountant to join a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms in the world to join their dynamic Accounting team based in Manchester.

Main duties include;
  • Managing cash receipts allocation for various European and Middle Eastern entities
  • Performing bank reconciliations for various European entities and for other balance sheets accounts
  • Performing general financial analysis, both on a monthly and ad hoc basis
  • Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns for various European entities
  • Preparing various reports, including complex financial reports and analyses
  • Assisting with testing and implementation of new software and upgrades to existing systems

Candidate requirements;
  • AAT/CIMA/ACCA - Part Qualified/Qualified
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial formulas and ability to analyse and reconcile complex accounts
