Search Consultancy are currently recruiting for a well known construction company based in Glasgow city centre who are looking for a Senior Finance Assistant on a 9-12 month FTC due to expansion.
The Role
The role of Finance Assistant is a result of continued growth and an increased volume of work. This is an opportunity to become part of a large growing company and a busy finance team. To be considered for this opportunity you must have experience in a finance department, processing VAT returns and experience using Sage systems.
You will be involved in the following duties:
* Purchase and sales ledger
* Reporting to the Group Accountant
* Ability to work to tight month end deadlines.
* Reporting and analysis
* Use of SAGE 200
* Bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
* Credit control
* Maintenance of fixed asset register
* Adhoc duties
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:
* Minimum 2 years finance experience
* Proficient user of Sage and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
