Senior Tax Manager

Position Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the firm's tax service requirements involving managing all tax related client issues and cases including, but not limited to, compliance, advisory, planning, objections, appeals, as well as assisting staff development and conducting staff training on tax matters.  The individual will lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for our clients and will also support the leadership team of the firm in the pursuit of business development strategies to market and build the tax service line and manage client relationships.  The position offers excellent opportunities for leadership and career advancement.

Requirements:

• At least five (5) years practical tax related service experience in an audit/accounting firm or in a role of comparative capacity in either the private or public sector.

• ACCA/CPA/MSc/MBA or equivalent qualifications.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Excellent time management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Has problem solving and analytical skills.
• Possess negotiation and persuading skills.
• Expert knowledge of tax revenue laws, policies, methods and objectives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant international principles governing Taxation, Tax Treaties, Transfer Pricing, Auditing, Commerce, Customs Trade, etc.
• Demonstrated ethical behavior in the performance of the job.
