My Retail client based in Stevenage are looking for a Purchase Ledger clerk to join them on a temporary basis. At the end of the year they will be relocating up north so are in need on an interim to assist.

My client are a large Retail business based in Stevenage. They are a household name and will be instantly recognisable to anyone that applies. They are looking to add to their team. They operate in a lovely office in central stevenage and theres a lovely team there as well.

Description

This Purchase Ledger Clerk position will involve

  • Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
  • Analysis of the Purchase Ledger
  • Ensuring that a back log of invoices have been put through the proper approval process
  • Preparing invoices for a payment run
  • Dealing with an extensive P.O system
  • Liaising with an internal stakeholders in different locations
  • Querying issues and problem solving

Profile

The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will

Have good solid Purchase Ledger Experience
Be comfortable with Microsoft Excel and using it a lot
Have an analytical mind and be able to perform these reconciliations
