• Independent account assignment and posting of business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial accounting
• Responsible for account clarifications and reconciliation of these with your lead
• Active contribution to improve and increase the efficiency of our processes and optimization of existing workflows
• Supporting your team, with preparation tasks, in the creation of monthly and annual financial statements for all of our companies
• Assist our Head of Accounting in projects and ad hoc requests

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree with a focus on business administration, ideally also further training as a financial accountant or balance sheet accountant
• At least 3 years of experience in the accounting department of a medium-sized company
• IT affinity and very good knowledge of accounting software such as DATEV, CANDIS or comparable programs
• Hands on mentality and the willingness to take over responsibility, analytical thinking, very structured and team-oriented way of working
• Enthusiasm for process optimization, creating more efficient workflows and confident communication in German and preferably also in English
