Product Development Team (FTE – Manager / BA Role)
Morgan Stanley Fund Services (MSFS) provides fund administration services to the world’s leading hedge funds. MSFS is a growing business with over 600 professional working in offices in New York, Dublin, London, Glasgow, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hong Kong.
The consultant will join the MSFS Product Development team and will be responsible for testing of various applications of MSFS.
Job Description
Gathers and analyzes requirements from business users Creates well defined user stories from high level business requirements based on AGILE principlesCoordinating with development team to ensure implementation of requirements defined Manage multiple requirements in parallel, and provides clear communication to team and stakeholders on constraints and prioritizationUnder the Test Driven Development model, responsible to work with Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts to identify and execute the test plans and test casesCoordinates with on and offshore team members to ensure the requirements and testing is modelled according to business rules and required practicesCo-ordinates UAT and Production testing and validation for releasesIs responsible to track and log defects during executionHelps co-ordinate and resolve production issues Product rollouts to internal clientsProactively seeks opportunities to improve existing reports and tools to provide an enhanced end user experience Experience
6-8 years’ experience in business analysis, requirement gathering and end to end project management of various applicationsHave a good understanding of the Hedge Funds domainHave a good understanding of the Software development lifecycleHave experience with managing multiple projects simultaneouslyGood to have – Strong Database concepts, previous experience as a database developer for financial domain, understanding of SQL, RESTEven better if – Exposure to one or more of the following, macro development, Crystal Reports, ASPOSE, REST services Personal Skills
