Client Details

This successful firm of Accountants, based in North West London, is seeking a Junior Bookkeeper to join their growing practice. Having recently acquired a smaller practice, this Firm is keen to add a junior to the team to work closely with some of the newest clients. The firm offers a very supportive and team focused environment, reflected by their low staff turnover and loyal client base. You will be encouraged to develop in your career, with the potential to develop the technical skills to reach a senior position within the Firm

Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completion of client bookkeeping, assisting the Senior Accountant with a portfolio of clients
  • Processing monthly journal entries
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Analysis and Bank Reconciliation work
  • Preparation and filing of Confirmation Statements
  • Filling of payroll for all the firm's payroll clients

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar practice environment
  • Proficiency Quickbooks and Xero
  • A want to further their studies
  • Have a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong communication

Job Offer

Salary between £18,000 and £22,000
