Group Financial Controller

A commercially focused Group Financial Controller position overseeing the UK group for a global organisation. The role will have responsibility for a small team responsible for the accounts production alongside the Pricing and Hedging strategies.

Description

The role has a key focus on:

• Accurate, timely and meaningful reporting of financial performance of all the consolidated group and standalone companies on a monthly and annual basis
• Provide robust analysis on margins along with analysis of hedging gains/losses
• Monitor and report profitability
• Coordinate and provide financial management, controller-ship advice and control requirements for the business
• Work closely with the Bank and Treasury to secure and reporting on funding
• Evaluate pricing proposals
• Oversight of companies hedge book
• work closely with the business to improve working capital
• Special projects - funding, acquisitions, divestment's etc

Profile

• Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• A track record in a controllers position ideally within a Manufacturing/Energy environment
• Can lead teams
• A track record of hedging
• Can support commercial teams with pricing
• Experience of leading audits
