The Role
The role of Financial Accountant presents the opportunity to join aworld-classfinance function and will offer career progression and development opportunities due to the significant size of the business. The key purpose of this newly created role is to support the Head of Finance in their delivery of timely, accurate and insightful financial reporting. The role will also require close working relationships with other department heads throughout the UK.
The Offer
The Financial Accountant position will offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

Management of month end close process.
Ensure all month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed within strict timeframes. ·
Prepare individual entity month end balance sheet reviews. ·
Preparation of complex calculations and journal entries, including multi-currency transactions. ·
Preparing budgets and forecasts for review by Senior leadership. ·
Proactively work with business stakeholders to forecast key cost and cash drivers on an ongoing basis. ·
Reviewing the corporation tax returns. ·
Preparing and filing annual statutory accounts
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:
·
Qualified or Part Qualified CA/ACCA with strong financial accounting/ month end close experience. ·
Experience operating with an enterprise wide, integrated finance system across multiple business units. ·
Decisive and confident in operating autonomously on a regular basis, positive, self-reliant, open-minded
and enthusiastic attitude. ·
Confident in a fast paced, change environment. ·
Very strong interpersonal skills ·
Advanced Excel skills
