Interim Financial Accountant
Immediate start for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant within a technically facing role
Your new company Highly acquisitive group seek an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant to commence a 12-14 week assignment at short notice. The full assignment can be completed on a remote basis.
Your new role You will prepare monthly financial information, from start to finish, for recently acquired Group entities (including Management Accounts) with supporting commentary, working within strict deadlines and liaising with the subsidiary companies. Furthermore you will manage full trial balance and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations (including VAT returns, sales reconciliations, wages reconciliations, etc) for the newly acquired entities. In addition, you will managing and training a part qualified accountant to assist with the financial integration and ensure ongoing improvement of department controls and processes
What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified accountant (preference for ACA/ACCA) with strong IFRS technical reporting skills and broad end to end financial control skills in order to run the month end process. You will be available at short notice for interview and appointment and be willing to commit to the full length of the assignment.
