Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Linehaul business is looking for an Internal Audit Manager (IAM) to develop and implement our business wide internal audit program.
Whilst we grow the team and program, the role holder will initially also be responsible for executing internal audits.

In addition to managing and conducting internal audits for our EU business, the IAM will work with relevant program and process owners to help improve compliance and provide visibility and recommendations to address current and emerging risks to management teams.

The IAM must have extensive audit experience, strong knowledge of compliance, excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated success in program development and project management, and experience working with geographically dispersed teams.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Develop and implement a robust internal audit program that helps identify risks and improve the business risk profile.
• Advise on risk mitigation strategies and control mechanisms to prevent fraud, abuse, and other operational risks that negatively impact Amazon, our partners, and our customers.
• Influence the compliance culture and risk maturity of each business team by providing independent insights and promoting best practices for risk mitigation.
• Prepare and deliver audit reports and facilitate audit reviews with senior management.
• Conduct periodic risk reviews and manage the business risk register, using them as tools to develop and recommend strategic initiatives that need management focus.

Basic Qualifications:
• MS in business, policy, risk management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in developing and delivering large scale internal audit program within the logistics and transportation industries.
• Professional experience in operational auditing, risk management or compliance, showing progression in areas for responsibility
• ISO9001 Lead auditor certified
• Experience implementing a quality management system and working with requirements of ISO9001.
• Experience guiding cross-functional teams to make strategic decisions
• Fluency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Academic focus on Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Mathematics/Engineering or MBA.
• Advanced project management professional qualifications
• Lean and Six Sigma Experience.
