Responsibilities:
  • Oversees all financial operations including reporting, reconciliation, accruals, payroll and expenses
  • Handling full set of accounts and manage all aspects of daily accounting functions including reconciliation and ensuring proper maintenance of accounting records
  • Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
  • Providing and interpreting financial information.
  • Presents the monthly financial review to the Management.
  • Build strong relationships and communication with all cross-functional teams (operations, sales, marketing, IT, etc.)
  • Creating additional analyses and reports as requested by management.
  • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends.
  • Conducting reviews, evaluations and monitoring of project costing.
  • Champions process improvements to address pain points and support the company's growth.
  • Develop effective financial and operational processes with cross-functional leaders to comply with external and internal regulations and audits.
  • Stringent monitoring of the business process to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, company secretary, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations and authorities.
  • Ad hoc assignment from time to time as assigned by the management.
  • Will have access to sensitive and confidential information and is expected to act with utmost discretion and integrity.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking and equivalent. g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MICPA, MIA.
  • Well verse with Accounting Standards and Malaysian Taxation Rules and requirements (including SST)
  • At least 5 years working experience and involve in managerial and review role
  • Candidate is require to manage a finance team of 5-10 accounts executive
  • Strong knowledge of financial and regulatory requirements and development with hands-on management.
  • Sound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analysis
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
  • Results oriented and metrics driven
  • Exceptional time management and able to solve problems
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels
  • Ability to lead by example and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics and dependability
  • Professional written and oral communication skills
  • Possess good business acumen
