Inviting applications for the role of AM, Asset Backed Finance - Collateral Management and Credit
Responsibilities
In this role, you would be supporting US bank in their Capital Markets - Structured Finance ("Structured Finance") business. Structured Finance group provides capital markets - based financing solutions customers, including finance companies, mortgage companies, and asset managers.
  • Supervise portfolio activity and exposures via all line of business and asset class prepare information and analysis
  • Regular Review of collateral keeping in view the terms, modifications, amendments, financial covenant waivers, etc. for assigned exposure and relationship
  • Develop and understand upstream and downstream of capital markets by analyzing the portfolio exposure, facility utilization,
  • Preparation, QA and extensive review of portfolio surveillance materials, broad of regular tracking all key transaction specific and assigned policy/transaction review requirements
  • Provide tactical & strategic observations and insights on collateral, credit and financials. Take ownership of execution and bring functional and technical insights to the onshore teams

The Analyst has to perform following activities for capital markets and securitized transactions:
  • Review of collateral reports, financial statements and supervising historical financial performance of underlying companies
  • Analysis of financial documents/offer memorandum/term sheets to judge the liquidity and credit worthiness of the clients for lending/equity perspective
  • Maintaining team's database and various spreadsheets for internal reporting
  • Assisting with team's portfolio management activities and take ownership of respective transactions
  • Regular monitoring of the portfolio, both internal and external credit improvement, waterfall structure, covenant monitoring
  • Ongoing review of performance trends of collateral and collaborating closely with onshore teams to extend support and qualitative inputs
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
  • UG: Any graduate, preferably from commerce background
  • PG: MBA/PGDM (Finance)
Preferred qualifications
  • Any prior work experience in credit research or financial statement analysis
  • Relevant years of work experience
  • Professional Qualification: CFA Level I/II
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Proven analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills. Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Solid problem solving and decision making skills
  • Proven technical and analytical skills including financial analysis
