We are looking for:

Senior IT Business Analyst

Job location: Warszawa

The ideal candidate will have a proactive, self-starting nature with a 'can do' attitude. She/he is knowledgeable in driving business analysis for application development purposes in a methodological way, supported by analytical tools. Successful candidate will closely cooperate with the client and will be involved in identification of customer's business needs and elicitation, analysis and management of the requirements. She /he will be also responsible for preparation of the documentation compliant with the corporate standards and modeling of the requirements and system functionalities.

We require:

• Bachelor's degree (Science, Technology, Accounting, Economics, Math or Engineering background)

• 8+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst

• 6-8 years and documented participation in the role of an analyst and chief analyst in financial and accounting software development projects

• Exceptional knowledge of business analysis methods

• Experience in elicitation, analysis and management of requirements and defining system specyfications

• Understanding issues in the area of payments,

• Knowledge of interbank clearing mechanisms

• Knowledge of clearing and settlement of payment schemes (VISA / MC)

• Extensive experience and knowledge of financial and accounting issues (accounting operations, charts of accounts, general ledger, accounting notes, financial consolidation, ...)

• knowledge of payment instruments

• Knowledge of SQL

• knowledge of MUMPS

• Experience in working as a BA on client-facing applications

• Understanding the software development lifecycle, data models, backend and frontend IT systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team

• Ability to work without supervision, manage time and prioritize workload efficiently

• Excellent communication in spoken and written English

We appreciate (optional):

• Experience in creating system analysis using BPMN and UML notation in CASE modeling tools (eg Enterprise Architect)
• Experience in Agile methodology
