Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with the analysis and allocation of revenues between regulated and non-regulated entities
- Participate in the month-end closing process
- Prepare and process journal entries in the GL system
- Prepare accurate, compliant and timely balance sheet reconciliations as assigned
- Research and analyst data as requested
- Record producers' P&L and calculate commissions associate with multiple custodial broker dealers
- Annually assist external auditors to provide audit support
Requirements
- 1 -2 years of experience in accounting field
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High degree of accuracy with a good eye for detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combined education and work-related experience
