Manager Credit Assurance

Looking for a change? Join this major financial services organization to consolidate your broad banking experience gained in credit origination and decisioning in their Assurance team. This team influences the adequacy and effective credit management for Corporate and Institutional customers.

Reporting directly to the Director, some of the key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Reviewing the quality of credit origination, credit decisions and key controls for managing credit risk
• Leading and coaching of credit risk professionals to execute the Credit Assurance program.
• Undertaking detailed research and analysis of review findings to ensure review outcomes are presented with effective risk management strategies.
• Creating and maintaining strong working relationships with key business partners including Group Risk, other Assurance divisions and Group Audit.

A capable analytical banker, you will be comfortable managing change and strive for continuous improvement, showing strong resilience and leadership skills. Knowledge of credit risk management with demonstrated (assessment, analysis and decisioning) experience within a major bank will be critical for your success. You will bring great interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, and demonstrate current and relevant market knowledge of banking.
