We are seeking a qualified and experienced C-Level professional to manage the finance and commercial operations for the Asia Pacific region. Experience in the travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded.
Principal Responsibilities:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced C-Level professional to manage the finance and commercial operations for the Asia Pacific region. Experience in the travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Directing, coordinating, and administering company operations and staff functions through senior executives
- Establishing company objectives, policies, long-range goals, financial performance, company expansion, and operating plans for operating units and staff functions
- Strategic development and implementation
- Commercial matters pertaining to the business including commercial contract negotiations
- Analyse and improve existing business metrics
- Reviewing and updating financial processes
- Co-ordination of annual budgeting process and forecasting
- Strategic advice to the CEO and Senior Executive Team
- Partner commercial negotiations
- Identifying and implementing improvements in the business's IT platforms
- Provide directions with departments heads
- Accounting operations, cash flow management, reporting, budgets and forecasts, month-end and year-end process, regulatory reporting, analysis & interpretation of company performance
- Oversee the finance operation and participate in senior leadership meetings
- Ensure that Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and all other finance functions are completed in an efficient and timely manner
- Financial reporting including monthly and ad hoc management reports
- Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operations and profitability
- Ensure strategic analysis and accurate reports on the Company's financial position, along with recommendations and advice for the Executive Management team and parent company
- Monitor internal financial controls, including external financial audits that comply with accounting standards, legislation and all relevant regulatory requirements
- Make sure financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting whilst improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
- Quality control over financial transactions and reporting while establishing and implementing accounting policies, business processes and internal controls.
- Supervise the provision of information to external auditors for the annual and ad-hoc audits
- Watch over budget versus actual figures and analysis and control of variances
- Ensure timely completion of all regulatory reporting eg BAS, Payroll tax and financial statements
- Oversee management of all insurance claims, renewals, administration and relationships
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
- All internal and external stakeholders, members and clients of I.C.E. Vacations Asia Pacific Pty Ltd and Our Vacation Centre Pty Ltd on a Global Level
- Degree qualified + CA/CPA (MBA preferred)
- Accounting & Finance (C-Level preferred)
