Compliance -Business Analyst

Exciting opportunity for an ambitious Business Analyst with 2-4 years experience to join our Risk Management Group within our Enterprise Support Projects team and gain exposure to key Risk Projects within the Macquarie Group.

The Enterprise Support Projects team is responsible for governance of the Risk Management Group-wide project portfolio and delivery of key risk projects.

In this role you will join an experienced team and focus on the delivery of the Compliance Program of work, including process improvements and technology enhancement initiatives.

You will be expected to use your analytical and technical expertise, and your strong communication skills, to work with colleagues in various business groups to gather and document business requirements and develop and propose both technical and operational solutions.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
  • identifying, assessing and documenting business systems and operational processes and requirements
  • analysing data and processes to drive decision making
  • designing, proposing and delivering options and solutions

To be successful in the role ideally you will have 2-4 years Business Analyst experience as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. You'll be structured and methodical in your approach to your work, from discovery to delivery and can leverage proven techniques to elicit and analyse business needs whilst providing key inputs into solutions to meet client needs. Experience in organisational, process and systems analysis, documentation and design is highly desirable as is previous work experience in financial services and/or compliance.
