Our Hospital has a dynamic, engaging leadership team and we are seeking a Financial Accountant with a 'can do' attitude who thrives on a challenge and has a willingness to step up and work collaboratively with the executive team to add value to the business.

This role will support the Commercial Manager with provision of financial services for the hospital including:
  • Assist in preparation of month-end financial result
  • Preparation of month-end GL Reconciliations
  • Daily Banking and reconciliation
  • SAP Debtor invoicing
  • Vendor Invoice Management
  • Preparation of scheduled Hospital Reports
  • Asset Management
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and analysis and assist with and add value to projects on day to day duties and processes

About You
  • Relevant tertiary education in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in SAP, Meditech and Microsoft Office software applications
  • Strong knowledge of accounting operations - Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, and General Ledger
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Completes work within a timely manner to expected standards
  • Able to Manage expectations, communicate clearly and ensure that issues are escalated and managed appropriately
  • Ability to build and maintain positive, productive relationships with each key internal and external stakeholder
