Your new role
You will be responsible for collecting on overdue accounts, managing incoming cheque/BACS payments and allocations, query management and the releasing of, or holding of, orders when the customer credit limit has been reached.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be experience in collection of overdue accounts in a timely manner with a focus on 45 - 90 day accounts, entering of daily incoming cheque & BACS payments onto spreadsheet & preparing paperwork for daily banking. Allocation of incoming payments to customer accounts. Releasing (or holding) of customer orders when credit limit has been reached. Reconciliation of customer & cash sale accounts. Resolving customer queries (i.e. price queries, providing copies of invoices & "Proof of Delivery"s as requested etc.) Modifying of credit limits following rating changes from credit insurers & credit reference agencies or as directed by Credit Manager. Basic excel is essential but working experience with vlookups and pivot tables will be a particular advantage.
