A pension fund in London are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Officer for an 18 month fixed term contract.
As a Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will sit within the Compliance team reporting to the Head of Compliance. The role supports ensuring compliance with the FCA regulatory and the organisations Operational Framework requirements, through providing advice to the business, understanding regulatory developments and the potential impact on the business activities of the firm.

As a Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will sit within the Compliance team reporting to the Head of Compliance. The role supports ensuring compliance with the FCA regulatory and the organisations Operational Framework requirements, through providing advice to the business, understanding regulatory developments and the potential impact on the business activities of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring FCA and industry websites and producing regular updates of regulatory developments for Compliance team and wider business
- Carrying out analysis and producing summaries of relevant FCA Consultation Papers and Policy Statements
- Reviewing and updating Compliance manual and procedures as required
- Submitting regulatory reports to the FCA
- Providing compliance input and expertise into business developments and projects as required such as LIBOR transition
- Developing, implementing and preparing Matching Plus, Private Placements, Alternatives and Private Equity monitoring reviews in line with, and to ensure compliance with, COBS and AML rules
Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of the FCA regulatory environment
- Able to analyse information to formulate questions and recommendations
- Able to develop compliance policies and procedures
- Able to manage assigned tasks as well as any ad hoc that arise
- Investment Management/OPS experience would be desirable but not essential
